PROJECT: CD PACKAGING

The packaging of this album embodies the deadpan gothic irony of indie-rock band Black Market Art. Hand-painted streaks of white adorn the restrained darkness, layering a dense, fertile backdrop for the band's music.

Staff designers took the photographs and worked with the band on a thoughtfully arranged photo shoot that appears on the first page of the CD sleeve. Employing excellent long distance communication, we worked with an Australian CD-pressing company to ensure the technical requirements of an idiosyncratic layout were met perfectly.
